Essays, December 25, 2011 — Alone Thinking Under the Moon
Tonight, the moonlight is especially bright,
I sit alone, quietly in deep thought.
Brewing a pot of tea, the fragrance lingers on my hands,
When will I be able to gather the moon and dream of returning to my hometown?
The faint starlight makes the air feel slightly cool,
Who would wish to drape the cloak of dreams over me?
What does the fairy in the moon look like,
And what scene does the dawn moon and gentle breeze leave behind?
You once softly whispered in my ear,
That on the other side of the mountain lies a beautiful dream.
As time passes, everything changes,
But faith remains unchanged, soaring eternally.
Yesterday’s regrets are today’s dreams,
Can they courageously and freely soar?
The musings of one, the thoughts of one,
Finally lead me into a dream of endless imagination.
